Experienced psychotherapist, counsellor and psychologist in Central London (WC1)

I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, working in private practice and as a Senior Lecturer at The Open University where I am also the leader of the Psychology of Health and Wellbeing Research Strand.

As a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, I have substantial experience of working in institutional and private settings, and now offer therapy to a variety of clients: some who suffer from depression, anxiety or relationship issues, and others who feel extremely sad, stressed or trying to come to terms with trauma.

My aim is for you to achieve not just temporary relief but lasting change in your life. To this end, I offer both problem-focused counselling and more in-depth psychotherapy. I will help you with an approach that is grounded in both clinical experience and contemporary research evidence.

My consulting room is in Central London, next to Chancery Lane tube station and a short walk from Holborn and Farringdon. Please look around on my website to see what I can help you with and what kind of therapy I do.

I look forward to getting to know you.
